…”The Last Best Cafe?”

The Western Café calls itself “The Last Best Café”. Clearly this can be a very subjective topic but if you like delicious home cooked meals, you might become a believer. The Western is definitely an “authentic” café. It has a mom and pop Midwest diner vibe that doesn’t take itself too seriously. If you are looking to dine in exquisite conditions and receive a half plate of overpriced food that was made to simply look nice, you probably won’t like the Western. However, if you like a thick stack of delicious, fluffy homemade pancakes, or mouthwatering sides, you will love the Western Café.

My First meal was The Bobcat Special: Cinnamon roll French toast with hash browns and eggs. They knocked it out of the park. I am getting hungry just thinking about how good it was. For a place that doesn’t advertise much (if at all), it was pretty busy and relatively loud – it is small but bigger than it looks from the outside.
